DNA Shows Neandertals Were Not Our Ancestors

Dr. Mark Stoneking, then an associate professor of anthropology at Pennsylvania State University, stated:
"These results [based on mitochondrial DNA extracted from Neanderthal bone] indicate that Neanderthals did not contribute mitochondrial DNA to modern humans… Neanderthals are not our ancestors."²

Subsequent investigation of a second source of Neanderthal DNA confirmed these findings.³

4. “It’s possible that Neanderthals and humans were genetically incompatible, so they could have interbred but their children would have been less fertile,” said Stringer.
This phenomenon is seen in many other species such as when lions breed with tigers and horses breed with zebras.

Wow. So, these early studies "clearly" indicated that at least there is no woman lineage from Neanderthals into modern humans. Now, 6 years latter to this post, Paavo is saying (the opposite to what he found around 1997): that we modern humans (European -Asians but not Africans) have inherited some 1-4% something of Neanderthal DNA. This sounds fishy to me. I believe that the few results (very few Neanderthal DNA sequenced) are not yet strong evidence. For example, no DNA sequence of homo sapiens subjects living at the same time than Neanderthals has been analyzed. Many subjects will need to be sequenced before reaching a solid conclusion. Until now, consider all this fuzz wild speculation and showbiz circus. Suddenly, having neanderthal DNA is kool, yeah? and what negros dont have? Are they therefore superior or inferior? Hein????

How would fallen angels and humans fare in comparison to Neandertals?

By the way, you might have been ahead of your time. Try reposting in this era, especially to the university student base. You can forget the PHD's etc. The students are HUNGRY.
